The National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS) created this site to encourage you to volunteer and vote for the candidates of your choice in 2018 – and to encourage others to make their mark, too. This site is the marketing arm of the NACDS RxIMPACT Votes program. Go ahead, make this program your own, and put a face on pharmacy during Election 2018!

#PharmacyVoter Campaign Videos

As part of the NACDS RxIMPACT Votes get-out-the-vote campaign, NACDS is using videos to encourage pharmacy personnel to volunteer and vote for candidates of their choice, and to encourage others to do so as well.

Pharmacies are highly accessible. Nearly all Americans (89%) live within five miles of a community pharmacy.

NACDS members operate pharmacies in every
U.S. Congressional district.

In a 2018 survey, 83% of voters said pharmacists are credible information sources about saving money on prescription drugs.
In the same 2018 survey, 81% support allowing Medicare enrollees to receive help from their pharmacists with managing illnesses like diabetes.

NACDS members hosted federal legislators and staff for 107 pharmacy tours and similar events in 2017.
In 2018, advocates from all 50 states are scheduled to visit nearly every Congressional office during NACDS RxIMPACT Day on Capitol Hill.

The Indiana Pharmacists Alliance will be promoting both of the NACDS #PharmacyVoter YouTube videos to our 7,200 licensed pharmacists and 1000 students to “get involved and vote.” Thank you very much. These are excellent!
